Approximately one hectare of land has gone up in flames at Taabinga this afternoon, Friday 17 February.
According to a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson, two QFES crews are battling a grass fire on Edenvale South Road at Taabinga.
The first crews arrived at 1:10pm, and three more are said to be on their way.
The fire is 90 per cent contained at time of writing, the QFES spokesperson reported.
