Come along and cheer on some of the region’s younger cricketers for some ‘pink’ fun.

Kingaroy Junior Cricket is hosting a ‘Pink Stump Day’ this weekend on Saturday, 25 February.

There will be three matches around Kingaroy, kicking off at 8am and finishing around 11am.

The day will be all about having fun, raising breast cancer awareness and funds for the McGrath Foundation.

“We always try to do a raise as much as we can for this very important initiative,” Kingaroy Junior Cricket Vice President, Stuart Lamping said.

South Burnett local McGrath Foundation nurse Sue Cox will be attending the games.

The $5 ball fees for the games will go straight towards the total raised for the McGrath Foundation.

There will also be pink donuts for a gold coin donation, kindly donated by Donut King Kingaroy.

Cricket fans will have the opportunity to purchase Pink Stump Merchandise.
