Six young, budding artists will have an opportunity to work alongside a world-renowned artist.
Joel Fergie, also known as The Zookeeper, is the artist behind some of Australia’s most iconic large scale murals and he is coming to the South Burnett to share his craft with six young people.
The full-day workshop on Saturday, 11 March will be open to six young people aged 12-14.
The Zookeeper will be transforming a brick wall in the Hector Munro Lane along Kingaroy Street.
He will also be teaming up with South Burnett CTC Youth Crew to create a mural near the Kingaroy Skate Park and CTC Youth and Family Services centre.
The successful six young artists will get hands on experience with The Zookeeper and get to help create the epic new mural on the CTC Youth and Family Services wall near the Kingaroy Skate Park.
If you are interested in this opportunity, send an email through to katem@sbctc.com.au with a photo of a recent artwork you have created, your age, best contact number and why you would like to be part of the mural workshop. These applications will need to be in by Tuesday, 7 March.
The six successful applicants will be notified by a phone call on Wednesday 8 March.
