Mobile women’s health clinics coming to Burnett

Darling Downs Health have announced their latest list of locations at which the Burnett’s women can access free and confidential healthcare via a range of mobile health clinics.

The clinics, which will be staffed by DDH nurses, first hit the road on Tuesday, 2 May, appearing in Clifton in the Toowoomba region and Nanango in the South Burnett.

“Our mobile women’s health nurses offer a range of services, including cervical screening tests, breast awareness, sexual health testing and advice for issues such as continence, menopause, family planning, contraception and general wellbeing,” a spokesperson for Darling Downs Health explained.

Besides the below dates in the South Burnett region, DDH mobile women’s health clinics will also stop in the Western Downs, Lockyer Valley, Southern Downs, Goondiwindi and Toowoomba regions.
