South Burnett CTC’s Ready For Work program is back.

The program is for people over the age of 15, who are currently unemployed and ready to start working.

Ready For Work is designed to help guide people through searching for work and finding the right place to start.

The session will also cover creating and updating a resume to grab the attention of employers.

Ready for Work assists Queenslanders to transition into the work force.

Over eight weeks participants will learn how to:

• Make a professional resume

• Look for and apply for jobs

• Navigate a job interview

• Dress for the job

Ready for Work will run from 10am to 2.30pm every Tuesday starting on 11 July 2023 and finishing 29 August 2023.

The program is being facilitated by South Burnett CTC and will be based at the CTC Kingaroy Youth Park Training Room.

This Skilling Queenslanders for Work project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government. As a result, there is no cost to participants.

South Burnett CTC may even be able to provide transport if any interested participants live in Nanango or Kingaroy.

Participants may be eligible if they are over 15 years of age and are:

• Not eligible for Australian Government employment services or assistance; or

• Require support as you have barriers to learning and employment; or

• You have been unemployed for more than six months.
