UPDATE: The missing man from Cooyar has been found.

EARLIER: A Cooyar man in his 70’s has been reported missing this week.

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate the 75-year-old man missing from Cooyar, near Toowoomba.

Clive Bennett was last seen at a home on Palms Road on Wednesday, 10 July around 2pm.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 179cm tall, with white balding hair and hazel eyes.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition and may become disorientated.

Clive is believed to be travelling with his dog to Rockhampton, in a grey Mazda B2600 utility vehicle with Queensland registration 193 IJN.

His usual route is the Burnett Highway from Goomeri to Ban Ban Springs, Isis Highway to Booyal, and then the Bruce Highway to Rockhampton.

Police are concerned he may have taken an alternate route and become lost.

Police are appealing to Clive, or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, to contact police.
