To help celebrate Australia Day 2025, the North Burnett Regional Council is holding a photography competition, the theme, ‘Beauty of the Burnett.’
Unique perspectives of the iconic North Burnett landscapes, the vibrant communities, urban highlights, rich heritage, and everyday glimpses of what makes the North Burnett beautiful, this is what the judges will be looking for – what makes the North Burnett beautiful to you.
Whether you are a seasoned photographer or you just love snapping pictures on your smartphone, this photo competition is a chance to share your vision of what makes the region special.
The competition is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in the North Burnett.
Entries are open from 15 January 2025 and close 11.59pm on Australia Day, Sunday 26 January, 2025.
Participants can submit up to five entries.
Complete the online entry form, read and consider the terms and conditions and upload your photo at the North Burnett Regional Council website, 2025 Australia Day Photography Competition page.
Prizes include:
First Prize – $150 Visa gift card
Second Prize – $100 Visa gift card
People’s Choice Award – $50 Visa gift card
The winning photos will be featured on the North Burnett Regional Council website, social media channels and be featured in a special gallery exhibition in February, as well as to be featured in future Council publications.
