South Burnett dog regos due soon

South Burnett residents are reminded that dog registration renewals are due soon.

The dog registration renewals were issued on Tuesday, 28 October for the current registration renewal period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.

Payments for the dog registration renewals will be due on Tuesday, 9 December.

If your dog has an outstanding fee from previous renewal periods, this will be included along with the new fee in the total amount.

This year the council has introduced the option for South Burnett dog owners to choose between one year registration or a three year registration.

Dogs must be desexed to be eligible for a three year registration, which can be achieved by completing a change of details on the back of the renewal notice, and returning to the council before 25 November.

Council requests dog owners contact council to make payment or update any details, including change of ownership, if they have moved out of the area, or if your dog has sadly passed away.

The council reminds dog owners that it is the animal owner’s responsibility to notify the council within seven days of any changed information. Penalties will apply for failing to update details.

For further information contact Council’s Compliance team on (07) 4189 9100 or email info@sbrc.qld.gov.au
