Go Getta Girls step into wellness

On 22 October, our Go Getta Girls running club had the pleasure of attending a foot and orthotic session hosted by Kingaroy Chiropractic and Wellness.

As a group of women passionate about running and staying active, we’re always looking for ways to improve our performance and take better care of our bodies.

This session, led by Reiner Bauerfeind, one of the clinic’s practitioners, gave us just that.

We explored how foot mechanics influence our running technique, took a closer look at common foot issues, and how custom orthotics can help with alignment and injury prevention.

Reiner’s valuable insights, and the hands-on assessments helped many of us further understand our own unique needs.

It was valuable to explore the connection between foot function and running performance.

We’re grateful to Kingaroy Chiropractic and Wellness for supporting our club and sharing their expertise.

Collaborations like this remind us that running isn’t just about speed—it’s about staying strong, healthy, and informed.

We’re grateful for partners including Burnett Today who help us go the distance.
