The Biggenden community held its annual Charity Campdraft event at the Teebar Sports Grounds over the last weekend, hosting scores of riders for drafting, barrel racing and bull riding events over two days.

Visitors were able to shop at a range of market stalls and food trucks as well as enjoy a night of music with a performance by 2021 Country Music Association of Australia Male Artist of the Year Travis Collins.

Proceeds of the event went to Australia’s Cancer Council as well as the Leukemia Foundation and RACQ LifeFlight. Over a decade so far, the event has managed to donate tens of thousands of dollars for a good cause.

The yearly event moved to the Teebar Sports Grounds in 2019, where organisers managed to secure a bigger arena and facilities, allowing them to scale up the festivities.
