Some Kingaroy residents are advised to store water for use as there will be a temporary interruption to its supply.

South Burnett Regional Council said the shortage will occur on Youngman Street, Kingaroy, in between between Agnes Street and Banksia Drive, but it would also affect Rose Court, Kingaroy.

Water will be in short supply between 8am and 12pm on Thursday, 11 March, but unexpected circumstances could alter these times.

These works are part of Council’s routine maintenance programs.

Council also recommends residents take appropriate action such as turning off hot water systems and storing enough water for domestic and personal use during this period.

To flush toilets, quickly discharge a 10 litre bucket of water in the pedestal.
