Wedding ring stolen during break-in

A Murgon resident was heartbroken to find their most precious jewellery stolen from their home.

Murgon Police reported that between 30 April and 2 May, unknown offender/s attended a Gore Street, Murgon address, unlawfully gained entry to the residence and stole jewellery.

The stolen items include three rings -a wedding ring, engagement ring and dress ring- and a bracelet from a kitchen table.

Some of the stolen jewellery is over 100-years-old and holds sentimental value.

Police are seeking assistance from the community to locate these items or information regarding the offence.
