UPDATE:

A 46-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with a range of offences from Monday 28 June including:

– Driving without due care and attention

– Evading police

– Disqualified driving

– Driving with false number plates

– Driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle

– Possessing dangerous drugs and utensils

The man was charged after the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit officers conducted a search of a Kingaroy address.

A black Yamaha motorcycle was also seized.

He has been issued a Notice to Appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on 19 July.

EARLIER:

Kingaroy Road Policing Unit officers are searching for information about a black motorcycle, in regards to traffic offences.

Police will allege that at 3pm on Monday, 28 June the police officers attempt to intercept this black motorcycle on the Kingaroy-Cooyar Rd, Kingaroy, near the Kingaroy Airport.

The vehicle failed to stop and evaded police and was seen travelling towards the Kingaroy town area. It had false plates attached at the time.
