The Energy and Water Ombudsman Queensland (EWOQ) team will return to Kingaroy and Cherbourg for an informative day helping the community with queries relating to energy and water.
Following the success from their previous visit where Ergon customers raised concerns regarding energy bill stress, access to rebates, concessions, and payment plans, the team decided to schedule another consultation session with the community.
The team will be set up in Kingaroy at the South Burnett CTC on Wednesday 1 September from 12pm to 4pm and in Cherbourg at the Ration Shed Museum on Thursday 2 September from 9am to 1pm.
EWOQ are teaming with the South Burnett CTC for their Kingaroy session to provide financial counselling services.
Community education worker with YFS, Luke Reade, will also deliver energy literacy sessions for the community.
EWOQ is an independent statutory authority that provides free, independent and impartial dispute resolution services for unresolved complaints customers experience with electricity, gas or water suppliers.
