Police divers have joined the extensive search for an elderly Dallarnil man today.

He last spoke to family via the telephone at around 5.50pm on Saturday, 9 October from his property at Dallarnil, north east of Biggenden.

William, who is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cms tall with short, grey hair and green eyes, has a medical condition and grave fears are now held for his safety and wellbeing.

A Police Forward Command Post has been established on Hetheringtons Road.

The property William is missing on is approximately 400 acres and extensively covered by dense forest and bushland.
