Test clinic returns to hospital

Covid-19 testing will return to the Kingaroy Hospital from tomorrow, Wednesday 26 January.

Testing will no longer be available at the Kingaroy aerodrome.

Testing will be available at the hospital from 9am to noon Wednesday, due to the public holiday.

Usual hours will be:

– 7.30am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday

– 9.00am to 12pm Saturday, Sunday

– 9.00am to 12pm public holidays, including Australia Day (Wednesday 26 January 2022).

Testing helps us to quickly find as many cases in the community as possible. This helps us to do everything we can to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in the community.

If you have symptoms of Covid-19 or are a close contact you can receive a test at the Kingaroy Hospital. Traffic conditions have changed along Youngman and Albert streets, please follow the directional signage.

Symptoms include fever, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, vomiting or nausea, cough, shortness of breath, headache, diarrhoea and lost of smell and/or taste.

Remember, if you have had Covid-19 you do not need to get tested for COVID-19 to leave isolation or in the first 4 weeks after your release from isolation.
