The theme will be all things American at Kumbia’s next Cheap as Chips family night on Friday 22 July.

The Kumbia Memorial Hall is celebrating American independence month with traditional hamburgers and hot dogs, followed by brownies, apple pie and ice cream.

To keep to the United States theme, American beer will be on sale at the bar, together with wines and soft drinks.

Event organiser Linda Thomas of the Kumbia Memorial Hall Committee said the popular Cheap as Chips nights were an opportunity for people to get together, meet new people and enjoy a night of affordable fun.

“These evenings are gaining a reputation as a fun night for all the family without breaking the bank,” Mrs Thomas said.

Music, raffles, a lucky door prize and US-themed trivia round off the attractions of the event which costs just $10 per person and $25 for a family.

The hall supper room is heated for winter comfort and doors open at 5.30pm. Bookings are essential for catering – phone Mrs Thomas on 0428 447 581.
