Wondai Art Comp: Last chance to get entries in

This week is your last chance to get your entries in for the South Burnett Regional Council October 2022 Open Art Competition.

Wondai Regional Art Gallery will proudly host the competition which includes the $3000 Mayor’s Acquisitive Art Prize and Open ‘Australian Poetry Theme Art Competition’.

In the month of October the whole gallery will be filled with entries for the South Burnett Regional Council’s 15th October Open Art Competition with a total of over $8,000 in prize money.

The closing date for all entries is Saturday, 1st October, 2022. Entry forms are available at the Wondai Regional Art Gallery and online: wondaiartgallery.org.au

Country Running Festival.

The open “Australian Poetry Theme Art Competition” is sponsored by Evelyn and Shannus O’Sullivan.

The $3,000 Mayor’s Acquisitive Art Prize will be judged from every section of art in the Gallery.

Mayor Brett Otto will be opening the exhibition on the evening of Friday, 7 October, 2022 at 6pm. All winners will be announced and all prizes will be presented on the night.

Opening night will be $5 entry with a hot and cold supper. Wine will also be served by Kingsley Grove Estate.

The exhibition will remain in the Gallery until Saturday, 29 October 2022.

Wondai Regional Art Gallery is open 7 days a week, 10am till 3pm. Entry is free. Phone the gallery on (07) 4168 5926 for more details.
