The rollout of yellow lid recycling bins for the South Burnett’s kerbside recycling has been completed.
The recycling bins were progressively delivered to households from late November.
Cr Danita Potter holds the portfolio for Waste and Recycling Management.
“This Friday the JJ Richards recycling trucks will be out and about doing a trial run picking up the normal waste,” Cr Potter said.
“This operation is purely to ensure the trucks are ready and working, so please do not place your yellow lidded bins out this Friday.”
Cr Potter also added, “The official recycling run will start on the 3rd of January 2023.”
The towns where the trucks will have their trial run this Friday will be Kumbia, Tingoora, Wondai and Murgon.
