UPDATE:

A 41-year-old man who was reported missing from Monto early on 16 February has been located deceased.

Police and family held concerns for the man as his disappearance was out of character and he had a medical condition.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the media and public are thanked for their assistance.

Our thoughts are with the man’s loved ones at this time.

EARLIER: Police are appealing for information about a Monto man who has been reported missing.

The police have called on the public to help locate the 41-year-old man who was reported missing from Monto early 16 February.

Jerome Holzheimer was last seen at a Flinders Street address at 1am on 16 February and has not been heard from since.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 189 centimetres tall, with medium build, blue/green eyes and long brown hair on top with shaved sides, possibly in a bun.

Police and family hold concerns for Jerome as his disappearance is out of character and he has a medical condition.

The police are appealing for Jerome, or anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
