Wetheron Bridge repairs amongst other civil works projects

Wetheron Creek Bridge is one of many spots around the North Burnett getting an upgrade.

North Burnett Regional Council’s civil works program for 2023 has commenced, with many projects on the go across the region.

Council contractors have started to demobilise the Wetheron Creek Bridge, along Wilson Valley Road, in preparation for the commencement of works at Ford Creek, which is due to start this week.

Approach slabs will be poured insitu at Wetheron during the week commencing this week, 20 February.

The site has been left cleaned, tidy, and ready for the backfill efforts around the piles, with the traffic management cones in place along the bypass and at the end of each approach.

Other current civil works projects across the North Burnett includes:

– Maintenance Grading Zone 2 – Folleys Gully Road

– Maintenance Grading Zone 4 – Yarrol Road, McLeods Road

– Maintenance Grading Zone 6 – Back Benyenda Road

– Maintenance Grading Zone 7 – Bradleys Road

– Maintenance Grading Zone 8 – Yerilla Road

– Maintenance Grading Zone 9 – Aberdeens Road

– Construction Crew North – TMR Reseal Prep

– Construction Crew South – TMR Reseal Prep – Stabilisation

– Resource Crew North – Glencoe Road – NHVR Upgrade

– Resource Crew South – New Cadarga Road
