The Mondure Hall’s Annual Gardening Experience Day was well attended and enjoyed by around 100 people.
There were various plant stalls at the Mondure Public Hall on Sunday, 26 March.
People had the chance to browse through the stalls and purchase natives, herbs, salvias, bromeliads, seedlings and daylilies.
Information talks were given on natural sprays, propagating and growing salvias, and daylilies as well as growing herbs.
A demonstration on creating bonsai and making floral arrangements was also enjoyed.
The Mondure Hall Committee had a table of local grown produce and cooking all kindly donated.
This is one of our main fundraising events for the year and all money goes towards improvements to our Country Hall.
The Mondure Hall Community and Friends of Mondure are keen supporters of events held, and are passionate about keeping our hall open well into the future.
