MISSING PERSON UPDATE: SIDNEY CLARK.
The public is being called to assist in locating 79-year-old Sidney Clark after the vehicle he was driving and trailer were found abandoned.
The trailer was found on Tuesday 30 May on Chinchilla Wondai Road near Durong, with a shredded tire.
The Jeep was found on the side of Stockyard Road, Barakula on Wednesday 31 May.
Police have initiated a land and air search of the area.
Concerns are held for Sidney’s welfare as he has a medical condition that may cause confusion and disorientation and he has been missing since Monday afternoon, 29 May.
The 79-year-old was last seen driving his silver Jeep Cherokee with Victorian registration NRM093 in the vicinity of the Chinchilla CBD.
Sidney is white, approximately 170 centimetres tall with a proportionate build, short grey hair and a grey beard.
