23 June: Neon Night Walk

5.30pm, Meet at Nanango Lions Park

A free community walk will be held in Nanango, complete with free glow sticks and BBQ. This go-in-the-dark adventure will head from Nanango Lions Park to Hannibal’s Bucket and back. Get warm, get out and about with your friends, family and pets and make some new connections in your community. 24 June: Girls RL Invitational Day

The session run by Wondai Proston Wolves Rugby League Club is open to all under 10s and under 12s girls of all experience levels to join, gain some skills and have fun. Rugby league games will be held at the Wondai Sports Grounds on 24 June:

An adventure of a lifetime provided by the Central Burnett Uniting Church. The day camp will include bush activities, God stuff, archery, painting, craft, adventure, Gunya Building, exploring, Damper Making, obstacle courses and lots of fun. North Burnett children are invited to unleash their superpowers these school holidays for some free family fun. Take part in interactive activities by four Australian artists – Kaylene Whiskey, Tony Albert, Gordon Hookey and Vincent Namatjira when Superpowered on Tour comes to your town.

Come along for arts and crafts filled with creativity, imagination, and boundless fun, whilst making superhero collages, creating power icon props and fashioning costumes and masks. No bookings required!

This program, in collaboration with the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, is designed to inspire young minds and ignite their super-selves through engaging activities and interactive experiences.

The 2023 Medieval Party is one of the South Burnett Libraries’ biggest events of the year. The library celebrates another year of their kids’ rewards program, ‘The Kingaroy of Libraria’.

Children are encouraged to come dressed in their best medieval outfit for a morning of fun and excitement. There will be crafts, games, best dressed competitions, face painting, lucky door prizes and Whanau Kai Coffee and Food. Rotary Club of Gympie have gathered an incredible array of more than 65 masters, artisans and makers of diverse heritage trades and crafts for their Heritage Makers Fair. The fair aims to showcase everyday skills of ‘yesteryear’ and inspire a new generation of craftspeople. Tickets are only $15 per person per day and can be purchased online at www.trybooking.com/CFJYT or at the gate. Proceeds benefit charities and community groups.

Cost: $5 per person

Put on your flashing headband and your glow in the dark bracelets and don’t forget your dancing shoes – for an awesome night of fun. Strictly open to 14 to 17-year-olds (Must show school ID or proof of age cards).
