Is your Christmas shaping up to be a little lonely?
Come along for the 2023 South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch hosted by South Burnett Peace of Mind.
The Christmas lunch will be held in the Kingaroy Town Hall Supper Room on Monday, 25 December from 12noon.
South Burnett Peace of Mind founder Rhonda Trivett welcomed everyone to come along.
“If you’re going to be lonely this Christmas, or have difficulty [with costs of Christmas] -just pop down and get a free feed,” she said.
It will all be free with karaoke, bingo and painting activities also planned. Santa Claus will also be planning on stopping by to say hello, or rather ‘ho, ho, ho’.
“I’m trying to make it as much fun on Christmas Day,” Rhonda said.
“Christmas is all about kindness and love and looking after people at Christmas.”
Rhonda thanks Swickers for donating the Christmas Hams and the South Burnett Regional Council for their kind donation and the use of the town hall supper room.
Rhonda also thanks the Anglican Church for kindly allowing the South Burnett Peace of Mind to use their hall when it is needed and all of the other businesses who have supported this venture.
