Help ease the burden of sending children in need back to school and get on board with Operation Backpack.

Kingaroy Shoppingworld has announced the launch of Operation Backpack with their partnership with Vinnies Australia.

Collecting essential school items until 19 January, all the items collected will go to local children in need.

Operation Backpack aims to provide stationery essentials, ensuring these kids have everything they need once the school semester begins.

Robinson’s News and Gifts has partnered with St Vincents and Kingaroy Shoppingworld, who have instigated this initiative.

Tracy Robinson, co-owner of Robinson’s News and Gifts, said “We are proud to be able to join this great initiative, and we hope the general public will get aboard.”

“We are geared up for back to school,” she said. “Lots of savings to be had.”

“A one stop shop for parents to get their kids back to school.”

“Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated.”
