South Burnett’s Share the Dignity March drive was a display of great generosity.

A total of 123 pads and 82 tampons were donated throughout March at the collection point at Kingaroy Woolworths.

Nancy Ryder, a Share the Dignity volunteer of nine years, said the donations would be shared between Graham House Murgon and Yourtown Kingaroy.

“Our local charities in the South Burnett will be greatly thankful,” she said.

“You are all amazing.”

Share the Dignity is an organisation that ensures all women and girls who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and period poverty have access to period products.

The donated items are distributed to different organisations and Dignity Vending Machines so these people doing it tough receive the support they need.

Keep an eye out for more opportunities to give, with another Share the Dignity drive planned for the South Burnett in August.
