Murgon police have called on the public for information regarding a series of alleged break-ins and attempted thefts during April.

According to a Queensland Police Service spokesperson, officers are looking to learn more about an alleged break-in at a Palmer Street address between 2.30pm on Friday, 5 April and Sunday, 7 April.

Around 11pm on Monday, 22 April, police allege two unknown people allegedly approached an address on Coronation Drive, seeking to gain entry before fleeing when the building’s occupants noticed them.

Another break-in allegedly happened between that same day and 29 April, when unknown offenders reportedly targeted a Jefferies Street address, taking ‘personal items’ with them.

Lastly, police have called for information on an attempted break-in and vehicle theft at Wilson Street around midnight on 29 April. According to a QPS spokesperson, unknown offenders tried to enter a building, then attempted to break into a car parked at the address; when they did not succeed in either venture, they fled on foot.
