Police are appealing for public assistance after a vehicle caused a number of homes to lose power.
Police will allege that on Sunday, 9 June a ‘hit and run’ occurred at Moffatdale where an unknown vehicle struck an Ergon Energy transformer between 8.30pm and 10pm.
As a result of the crash, the transformer was damaged and a number of homes lost power.
