All’s blue as festival rolls around

For the lovers of blueberries, head on down to Mundubbera, for the Mundubbera Blueberry Festival this weekend.

On Friday, 27 September, and Saturday, 28 September, Mundubbera is holding their annual Blueberry Festival, with plenty to see and do.

At the Bicentennial Park on the banks of the Burnett River on Saturday, the Berry Big Day Out, Artisian Market and family fun day comes alive from 9am to 2pm.

More than 70 artists and crafters, local producers as well as community groups and food retailers, are coming together to provide a full day of markets and entertainment for visitors, with plenty of fun for the kids.

A free jumping castle, free face painting, and interactive circus, games, competitions and so much more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

For the lovers of music, come down and jam out to the Blueberry Jam Sesh on Saturday evening at Mundubbera Showgrounds from 3.30pm until late.

There will be performances by The Angels, 19 Twenty, Soul Tree Union, Bourbon Street and Blake Benecke, with the show being opened with the North Burnett Talent Quest Finale.

Looking for something laid back, then why not explore Mundubbera like a local and join the Berry Bonza Bus Tour, where you’ll have the chance to discover Mundubbera’s agricultural diversity, be entertained by the knowledgeable and entertaining guides as they show off their hidden gems, and share insider stories about the region.

There will be a free goodie bag to take home, but there’s limited spots available, so grab your tickets now.

Perhaps you would like to get a bird’s eye view of Mundubbera with Scenic helicopter flights, and get a new perspective on the region.

There’s something for everyone, so plan a great family day out and come down and enjoy the 2024 Mundubbera Blueberry Festival.
