Be ready to sing and dance along with the Watoto Children’s Choir this Friday night.

The free Watoto Children’s Choir concert will be held at the Highway Church Kingaroy at 6.30pm on Friday, 11 October.

All the way from Uganda in East Africa, the Watoto Children’s Choir will perform songs from their brand new album ‘Better Days -There is Hope’.

Be prepared to share in their infectious joy -before long you will be smiling along with the children.

On the night between songs, the children will share their stories of restoration and hope.

The choir members are rescued orphaned and vulnerable children who, through the non-profit organisation Watoto, have been given homes and access to everything they need from food, clothing, medical care and education to the love of a family.

Watoto Children’s Choirs have traveled extensively since 1984 sharing a message of hope not only for Africa’s most vulnerable children and women but to also encourage others around the world.

At the heart of the Watoto children’s joy is the restoration of their dreams, and the Christian message of God’s unconditional, unfailing love for them.

At the Kingaroy concert, an Enrose Food Truck will be onsite at Highway Church from 5.30pm for food and drink purchases, before the concert starts at 6.30pm.

Watoto Children’s Choir will also have merchandise available for purchase during the evening, and there will be an opportunity to give a financial gift to support the work of Watoto on the night.

Highway Church Kingaroy is located on the corner of Edenvale North Road and D’Aguilar Highway.
