With a ‘spring’ in their step, Let’s Dance Line Dancers hosted their annual spring social.
On Sunday, 29 September the linedancing social was held at the Wondai Town Hall, with visitors coming from the South Burnett region and as far as Cooroy, Bundaberg, Bagara, Childers, Maryborough and Brisbane.
Let’s Dance Line Dancers’ Lynette French said it was a great time linedancing.
“What a fabulous day of friendship, socialising and line dancing and what a wonderful turn out we had,” she said.
The raffle prize and lucky door prize table looked full thanks to many generous donations.
Lynette said they raised money for two charities -the South Burnett McGrath Breast Cancer Care Nurse and LifeFlight.
“They will receive a good amount of money in donations thanks to Silver Fox line dancers in Kingaroy for their very generous monetary donation and the lovely gifts for our raffles and lucky door prizes,” she said.
The group also thanked Lorraine Scrimgeour has consistently donated prizes for Let’s Dance’s socials, and Kingaroy Line Dancing and Let’s Dance Line Dancers also made donations.
Lynette thanked the newly-formed Wondai and District Men’s Shed who came and helped witht he set-up and pack-down of tables and chairs for the event.
