Banking on safe driving

Earlier this year the Year 12 students from Nanango State High School were able to participate in a defensive driving safety course run by Safe Driver Training at Willowbank motorsport precinct in Ipswich.

The day involved a range of driving activities including emergency turning and braking, gravel road and 4WD driving and slalom course driving.

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to understand and experience how to control a range of motor vehicles in different emergency situations.

This very valuable training was proudly sponsored by Heritage Bank Nanango, without Heritage Bank Nanango the school would not have been able to book out the raceway, cars and trainers, and the students would not have learned many valuable skills.

On behalf of the Year 12 students, Nanango State High School would like to say a big thank you to Heritage Bank for sponsoring the event and making the whole day possible.
