Fire crews have worked to control a grass fire at Barambah which has burnt around 30 acres on Thursday, 31 October.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said the fire, which had been burning along the Burnett Highway towards Redgate Road, was first called in at noon.
About nine crews attended to the fire, which were mainly rural crews and a few fire and rescue crews.
The fire is now burning in the containment line, with fire crews mopping up after lots of backburning to control the fire.
The QFD spokesman said one lane of the Burnett Highway was now open.
