Dancing makes a difference

Let’s Dance Linedancers were able to give back nearly $2000 towards worthy Burnett health causes.

The Wondai group’s annual spring social on 29 September was a day of dancing, socialising and fundraising.

The successful social event, which included funds raised through raffles, allowed the group to split the proceeds between two causes.

Recently, Let’s Dance Linedancers presented South Burnett McGrath Breast Cancer Nurse Sue Cox a donation of $980 to go towards her work supporting breast cancer patients in the South Burnett region.

The linedancing group were pleased to be able to also donate $980 to LifeFlight, who assist patients in the Burnett region and beyond to be airlifted to crucial life-saving healthcare.

Let’s Dance Linedancers meets every Thursday morning, 9.30am-12.30pm at the Wondai Town Hall. For more information contact Vicki on 0427 461 538.
