Youth Festival of the year

South Burnett CTC is excited to announce the South Burnett Youth Festival 2025.

This festival is one of the region’s most anticipated youth events, with the festival to provide a fun activity for 12-21-year-olds.

The festival is set to take place on Friday, 11 April from 6pm to 9pm at the Kingaroy Showgrounds.

This free festival promises an unforgettable evening filled with live DJ music, free dinner and drinks (non-alcoholic), interactive activities, and safe transport for young people aged 12 to 21.

“This festival is all about providing our youth with a safe, fun space to express themselves and celebrate their creativity,” Prue Black, Team Leader of CTC’s Youth Services, said.

“We’re empowering young people and encouraging community leaders so that together, we create a future where every voice is heard.”

Kirsten Firman, Youth and Family Services Manager at CTC, added, “Youth Festival 2025 is a vibrant celebration that not only brings amazing entertainment like live DJ sets, but also offers interactive stalls and creative activities.”

“Our commitment is to ensure every young person feels supported, safe and inspired,” Kirsten said.

The Youth Festival event will feature secure transport options from Kingaroy to Blackbutt, as well as from Kingaroy to Murgon and Proston, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the night hassle-free.

Attendance is capped at 300 tickets, this exclusive festival is set to create a dynamic and intimate environment for youth to connect and have fun.

Community partners and local businesses are invited to get involved by sponsoring a stall or hosting a creative activity.
