Photo lovers of the Burnett region, get your cameras ready and take your best shot at the Sunwater Photo Competition.
Local photographers with a love for photography are urged to share their most eye-catching images of the dams and waterways in the Burnett region.
Sunwater has launched its second annual photo competition, and are looking forward to showcasing some of regional Queensland’s most stunning natural locations.
Avid snappers and emerging photographers can submit shots of dams, weirs, and irrigation channels as well as photos showing how people enjoy using their local Sunwater dam or lake for recreational purposes.
With a wide range of prizes on offer, with entries vying for the top spot, with the winning entry to feature on the cover of the 2026 Sunwater Calendar.
A further 12 finalists will also receive prizes and have their photo included in the calendar.
The photo competition is open to all residents of Queensland over the age of 18 years. People can enter the competition as many times as they like.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The entrants must ensure their photo is taken from publicly accessible areas, and must adhere to all warning and information signage to ensure their entry is valid.
