Minister’s thought for the week

The book of Psalms is a poetic collection of songs, prayers, laments and hymns in the bible. (SUPPLIED: Aaron Burden on Unsplash)

If you’ve seen the news lately you would have noted that there is a lot of unrest in the world.

Especially in Los Angeles and other American states.

War between Russia and the Ukraine, Palestine and Israil, domestic violence, armed robberies and massed shootings to mention a few. Why are people so unhappy? What’s wrong with the world?

God made us to be peaceful, kind people, people who treat others with respect, tolerant and forgiving and love as you would want to be loved.

It says in the Bible that. “For the Lord is good and His love endures forever, His faithfulness continues through all generations.” (Psalm 100:5)

Let’s remember to love each other like God loves us, to forgive as God forgives and that God is faithful.

Then there is sure to be more peace in the world and a sense of love and kindness.
