The July portion of the Queensland Winter Craft Festival will open on Friday, 4 July 5-7pm.
In Gallery 1 Birds of a Feather will present ‘Silver Creations’
This exhibition, by local artists will feature; patchwork, quilting, jewellery, many facets of machine embroidery, sashiko stitchery and visual art.
The work will include pieces depicting silver colours, in some form, or other.
In Gallery 2 Collective Creations will inspire art lovers with their ‘Sojourn’ exhibition.
Using a variety of techniques and resources, Collective Creations have aspired to capture snippets of a time, place or reason to linger for a moment; to tarry just enough to record sojourns which we have experienced, mostly first hand. An observation, if you will, of a truly memorable part of our being.
Gallery 3 Shady Pines Alpacas will present their ‘pacadorable’ Farm to Fashion 25 collection.
Shady Pines are featuring their latest collection of wearable art.
All pieces are created on the farm, from their own Alpacas, here in the South Burnett.
