Residents in the Cooyar, Blackbutt, Yarraman, Yarraman town, and North Yarraman areas will experience a power outage this morning.
Ergon Energy Network reported last night that an emergency power outage will affect their Yarraman, Blackbutt and Cooyar customers between 9am and 12noon on Friday, 4 July.
The Ergon Energy crews identified damage to powerlines which supply the Yarraman substation which require immediate repair.
The Ergon Energy Network stated that if these critical works are not carried out properly, there would be a risk of an unplanned, extended outage.
“We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience while local crews work to restore power as quickly as possible. Thanks for your understanding,” they stated.
