The hum of a dozen Harley-Davidson motorbikes was fitting accompaniment for Danny Turner on his final ride.
Family and friends rode alongside late Kingaroy veteran Danny Graham Turner on Friday morning, 4 July.
A Harley-Davidson enthusiast himself, a bike towed Danny’s coffin while a procession of motorbikes and vehicles trailed behind, with the group driving down the D’Aguilar Highway from Generation Funerals Kingaroy to Tara’s Hall in Nanango for his funeral service.
Some of the accompaning riders wore jackets with a bike with wings etched onto their back, along with the words ‘Some walk into heaven, others ride. Danny Turner 1954-2025’, as a way to honour Danny’s memory.
Danny Graham Turner, who was born on 21 June 1954, passed away on Thursday, 19 June 2025, aged 71.
Mourners described him as a beloved dad, poppy, great-poppy, brother and a good mate to many.
