Maidenwell Transfer Station operational

South Burnett Regional Council advises residents of Maidenwell and surrounds that the new Transfer Station at Maidenwell is now operational, with the old site scheduled to close on Friday, 16 January, with the bins being removed.

The new facility will require an access card for entry and exit of the facility.

“We would like to remind members of the public that require access and live within the approved areas to apply for an access card,” South Burnett Regional Council said.

Residents will need to contact Council to obtain an application form for the access card.

For those who live outside of the approved areas and wish to use the facility can apply, with the application to be assessed on a case by case basis.

The localities authorised to utilise the new facility are:

• Maidenwell

• Pimpimbudgee – Tanduringie

• Wengenville

• Neumgna
