Roadworks along Bukali Scrub range

North Burnett Regional Council advises that roadworks commenced this week on Bukali Scrub Road from Tuesday, 3 February.

The road works are expected to take about five days, weather permitting.

The works involve the replacement of guardrails to improve safety along sections of the road, with sharp bends and steep drop-offs along the range. The works will be carried out between 6am to 5pm each day.

Due to the type of plant and equipment being used, lane widths will be significantly reduced, and lengthy delays may occur.

Members of the public are asked to minimise use of this section of road where possible and seek alternative routes during the works.

Where possible, properties east of Bukali Scrub Range (417 Bukali Scrub Road) are encouraged to exit via Bancroft, accessing Gladstone Monto Road, as shown on the map.
