Beauty of the Burnett snapshots

North Burnett photographers are invited to share their favourite views of the region.

The North Burnett Regional Council’s Beauty of the Burnett Photography Competition is now open.

The community are invited to celebrate the region, by submitting their top shots of the North Burnett.

From golden paddocks and stormy skies to local faces, events and everyday moments, the photography competition is about capturing the best of the North Burnett.

Photographers are encouraged to get creative and share the Beauty of the Burnett through their lens.

Photos must be taken between 27 January 2026 and 10 February 2026, inclusive.

Open first prize is $150, open second prize is $100, and the people’s choice prize will be $50. In the spirit of supporting the region’s local economy, prizes will be awarded as credit at a North Burnett business of your choice.

The first and second prize winners will be announced on council’s Facebook page on Wednesday 25 February, whereas the People’s Choice finalists will be open for ‘Facebook likes’ on Thursday, 26 February with the winner to be announced on Friday, 27 February.
