The Queensland Country Women’s Association Nanango chapter is delighted with the fresh new look of the front of our building, thanks to a $2,296 grant from the Heritage Nanango Community Branch.
The grant, received from Heritage Bank Nanango, made it possible to repaint the outside of our QCWA rooms — just in time for our 100th birthday celebrations.
QCWA Nanango President, Judy Bryant, said the support was greatly appreciated.
“We’re very thankful to the team at Heritage Bank Nanango, Mrs Bryant said.
“Without this grant, we may not have been able to give our building a much-needed facelift.”
“The fresh paint not only brightens up our rooms, but also adds to the look of the town and makes the space more welcoming for members and visitors.”
Heritage Nanango is a community-owned branch, which means profits are reinvested back into the local area through grants for community groups.
According to the bank, the more people who choose to bank locally, the more funding goes back into the Nanango community.
