A serious car crash and fire in Brooklands

Motorists are urged to slow down, and be cautious as there is a car engulfed in flames along Nanango Brooklands Road.

Three Queensland Fire Department crews are on scene, as a vehicle has collided with a tree and caught alight.

The collision and subsequent fire were called in at 11.05am, Tuesday 5 November.

A QFD spokesperson said the car is completely involved in fire, and a grass fire was started around the area.

Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the two patients in the vehicle have sustained life-threatening injuries.

The grass fire was contained at 11.25am, however it seems the car is still engulfed in flames.

Updates to follow.
