Saint Mary’s Catholic College has completed opening night for its annual musical for the year.
Annie Jnr is the wonderful tale of orphan Annie who escapes a cruel orphan mistress and become adopted by a billionaire.
Saint Mary’s students managed to infuse some high-action dancing with the traditional musical aspects of the story.
College Principal, Ms Carmel O’Brien praised both the staff and students for excellent production.
“It amazes me that our College has both the depth of talent in the students and the commitment of the staff to put this big production together. What we saw tonight was the Year 10 Drama, Music, Dance and Visual Art departments all combining to present an excellent musical,” she said.
The Annie Jnr musical will continue this weekend, playing at 6.00pm Friday 18 June and Saturday 19 June.
