Police search for stolen vehicle

Police are investigating the theft of a blue Nissan X-trail that was stolen from a Haly Street, Kingaroy address at 3pm on Sunday, 18 July.

The female owner was unloading groceries when a man approached where a physical altercation allegedly ensued.

The man allegedly entered the vehicle and drove off along Haly street in an easterly direction, and was later sighted in Cherbourg.

Police observed the vehicle approaching them on Fisher Street, where it has driven at the police vehicle, forcing police to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate the vehicle pictured and advise the public not to approach the occupants.
