Tingoora floodwaters trap passengers and dog

Emergency services were called out to the scene of floodwaters tonight in Tingoora, Friday 26 November.

Five Queensland Fire and Emergency crews and one swift water trailer attended to the incident at 7pm at Dingo Creek.

A QFES spokesperson said two vehicles were found off-road in floodwaters with two passengers in each vehicle and potentially one dog.

“They were trapped but safe at the time, crews were successful of the rescue of the passengers and the dog,” a QFES spokesperson said.

Queensland Police also attended to the incident.
