Kingaroy Shoppingworld has welcomed its latest store, Athlete’s Foot, at a special opening last Tuesday, 23 November.

With a high-tech specialised shoe-fitting machine, called My Fit 3D, and an array of shoe options for all sports and activities, the new store is set to be a popular addition to the region.

Shoes aren’t all Athlete’s Foot offers, with a school rewards program aimed at giving back to the community.

For every pair of shoes a student or a family member purchases, $5 will be donated back to their school. The initiative is designed to empower children by supporting their growth and education.

Athlete’s Foot Kingaroy is also committed to volunteering every six weeks across park runs in the South Burnett region, meeting local athletes, and providing much-needed hydration.

Staff will also present runners with a voucher for a $30 discount and technical running socks to help them advance their athleticism.

Working with local podiatrists and chiropractors, the staff at Athlete’s Foot are looking forward to partnering with businesses in the region.

“We love to get involved with the community,” Area Manager Luke Robinson said.
